Complimentary Initial Design Session
We will complete a New Home Planner to determine your specifications, requirements, special requests, lot preference, budget and timeline. A review of our New Home Building Process will answer all your questions. A review of floor plans that may suit your specifications is a great way to begin designing your new custom home.

Lot Reservation and New Home Planning Meeting
Our lot reservation and design agreement is completed with a $10,000 deposit that is held for 7 days until our designer has completed your preliminary custom home design.

Custom Design Planning
Your preliminary design is detailed until we have a final plan that includes your upgrade selections. Your deposit is processed and a Purchase Agreement is completed conditional to your final plan and pricing approval within 10 days.

Pricing
We will do a full review of the final pricing. You will make your final decision on your upgrades and features to ensure your custom home meets your specifications within your budget.

Final Purchase Agreement
With plans completed and pricing confirmed it’s time to complete your custom dream home Purchase Agreement with Homes By Us Ltd. The Remaining portion of the deposit is due at this time. You will meet your Project Manager and receive your new homes planning calendar.

Architectural Selections and Approval
Your custom exterior home plan is submitted to the developer’s architectural control firm for approval. This approval usually takes 3-5 days.

Construction
Your Homes By Us building team includes a Project Manager and a Designer. Together they will guide you through every step and decision until your home is complete. Weekly project meetings are booked to review your homes progress, discuss issues or concerns and to select your homes finishing. It’s an exciting time!

Prepossession – 10 days prior to Possession
Your family is invited to inspect your new home for necessary touch ups and items that might need to be addressed before you move into your new home. Your Project Manager will review and provide you with your New Home maintenance schedule and instructions.

Possession Day
You will receive a letter of possession confirming this date. Your Homes By Us Project Manager will do one last walk through with you before you receive the keys to your new home. CONGRATULATIONS!

Continued Support & Care Program
Our award winning service continues after you have moved into your New Home. For the next 12 months, our Service Team will contact you monthly. Should your home require warranty service, our goal is to resolve the matter within one week. After your first year, Homes By Us continues to be available for service or renovations for as long as you own your home.
